Next Generation Sequencing

Next Generation Sequencing

Next generation sequencing (NGS) is a technique referred to querying the entire genome (whole genome), the exons within all known genes (whole exome), or only the selected genes (target panel) from a large segment of DNA.The technologies that were used for over 10 years ago, electrophoresis, hybridisation and real time production detection are now being replaced by this new technology- NEXT GENERATION SEQUENCING.

TECHNIQUES:

NGS uses a hybridization capture or amplicon based sequencing to sequence DNA. Various different chemistries are applied depending on the service.

We at GeneOmbio offer Next generation sequencing services on Illumina MiSeq. The

MiSeq System is the ideal platform for rapid and cost-effective genetic analysis.MiSeq reagents enable up to 15 Gb of output with 25 million sequencing reads and 2 × 300 bp read lengths. With this we can offer focused applications such as targeted resequencing, metagenomics, small genome sequencing, targeted gene expression profiling, and more. Here at Geneombio we provide quicker and more accurate genome analysis at a reasonable rate; this helps the researchers and also offers a good diagnostic service too.

REPORTS :-

Reports for the test are shared according to the service, in the form of raw data, Library QC, within 10 weeks.
